About back9.deals
back9.deals exists because golf is expensive, deal sites are mostly garbage, and nobody had time to wade through promo emails and flash-sale countdowns to find the two or three things actually worth buying.
We fix that. One curated list of genuine deals — equipment, apparel, green fees, travel, accessories — updated every day before breakfast.
The problem we're solving
Most golf deal aggregators are SEO farms that republish every 10%-off coupon code in existence. They make money by volume: more links, more clicks, more affiliate income, regardless of whether the deal is actually good.
The result is noise. A “deal” on a driver that's been the same price for eight months. An “exclusive discount” that applies to the inflated MSRP nobody pays. Green fee “savings” on a Tuesday at 6am in November.
We built back9.deals because we were tired of it. Every deal that appears here has been evaluated against price history, retailer reliability, and the honest question: would we tell a friend about this?
How it works
Our team reviews deals daily using a combination of manual curation and automated price tracking. Each deal is assigned a confidence score — a signal of how certain we are that the listed price reflects genuine savings. Deals with high confidence appear prominently; deals we're less sure about are clearly labeled.
The community vote system lets readers surface the deals they've actually used and found valuable. Votes are rate-limited to one per deal per reader per day to keep the signal honest.
Deals that expire or go out of stock are removed automatically. We don't keep dead links around to juice page metrics.

Who we are
back9.deals is an independent publication. We are not affiliated with the PGA Tour, USGA, any golf equipment manufacturer, or any retailer we cover. Our revenue comes entirely from affiliate commissions — see our Affiliate Disclosure for the full picture of how that works and how we make sure it doesn't compromise what we publish.
We are golfers first. The deals we feature are deals we'd actually use.
